Sunday Services

Sunday morning we got up early in order to attend the 7AM service and the 10AM service at Nissi Faith Church.

Nissi Faith Church - Hyderabad, India
I preached and shared with each service about my testimony.  Starting out with how I original believed because I was "Scared" into the Kingdom, then it became an intellectual exercise until I found love, then I discovered God had a plan for me, then I walked that path until I sinned terribly and discovered forgiveness, finally I began to mature though I have certainly had my share of ups and downs.

I discussed that while I may be a "foreigner" I am also a creation of the same Creator that created them, and that my walk was probably similar to some of theirs.  I asked them to persevere with me as we walk together.  Though the truth is, I think they will have much higher places in the Kingdom than I.  (And no I am not just saying that to be humble... what they go through and have to endure I feel puts me to shame.)

I took most of the time during these two sermons so Bill didn't say too much, but he had often had the bulk of the preaching duties throughout the week, so I think he was kind of relieved.

After the service we prayed for many people.  It seemed like most of the people I prayed for were women who were asking that their husbands would come to Christ.  I did pray with one woman who had been demon-possessed for most of her life and had the year before come to Christ.  She was on-fire for the Lord and was simply asking for a blessing.

I feel like this is my second church.  Many of the people came to tell me they were happy to see me again and that they prayed for me often.  It is a lovely place to be.

Afterwards we had one more lunch with Moses and family... but that was not our last meal with them!
