India is a different world in everyway that you can imagine,
but then it is not. For all the cacophony of sights and sounds and smells,
India is still about God’s creation. It
is still about people that everyday: rise from their rest; break their fast; go
to work,/school/the fields; smile, laugh, and cry; hope for their future; and
love one another. They just happen to go
about it a different way than we do.
At the same time there are huge differences: different languages, difference clothes,
different colours, different philosophies, different religions, and different
politics. There is less money, less
food, less comfort, less clean water, less equality, less order, less space, less land, and less respect for all. There are more monkeys, camels, buffalos,
languages, peoples, and mosquitoes. There
is trash everywhere – and in its midst great beauty. Global companies are everywhere. The old and the new mix together in India
unlike many other places in the world.
